Ketamine IV Therapy in South Tampa
EVE Ketamine delivers evidence-based care in a safe and supportive environment
EVE Ketamine
Dr. Gary Liu, MD, PhD
Welcome! I am an adult psychiatrist dedicated to helping patients find lasting relief from mental health challenges. Over the years, I’ve seen that simply adding more medications or managing new side effects doesn’t always make sense. For some, traditional approaches can take months and may not provide the full relief they need.
With both a research background and advanced medical training, I started EVE Ketamine to bring patients access to therapies that work quickly and effectively. In my clinic, we combine evidence-based medicine with a patient-centered approach to deliver lasting relief. Our goal is to provide innovative treatments that help patients regain their mental health so that they can pursue what they find meaningful.
What is Ketamine IV Therapy?
Ketamine is an anesthetic that, at low doses, has shown remarkable benefits for individuals with depression, PTSD, OCD, anxiety, and more. Unlike traditional antidepressants, which may take weeks to months to reach full effect, ketamine can provide noticeable improvement in mood within hours to days for many patients — even when other treatments have failed.
In our clinic, each infusion is administered in a comfortable, closely monitored setting to ensure both safety and peace of mind.

What to Expect
Most new patients start with a series of six infusions spread over two to three weeks. Each session lasts about 45 minutes. The infusions are generally well tolerated and you’ll be monitored by our care team the entire time. Many patients notice significant improvements during this initial series, with options for maintenance treatments as needed.
